Magic in Motion is a reminder to perceive magic in the mundane, to move with curiosity in to deeper connection with ourselves and others and to fully engage with life itself.
In order to manage life’s challenges we develop coping mechanisms, which in turn can keep us disconnected, shut down and turned off. How can we turn ourselves back on? How can we build the strength and resilience required to stay engaged with life through both the ups and downs?
The way I’ve found to help me and so many others is through the body, through mindful movement and practices that deepen sensory awareness.
This practice of coming closer to our experience of the present through our senses can start a process of unraveling tension, as this is the body’s innate design. Letting go of defenses, beliefs and control that limit us from experiencing pleasure, vibrancy and aliveness. All of which arise from connection and lead us to that state of awe and wonderment, where we feel grateful to be alive.
Curiosity is the key.
